The OE-2 connects seamlessly with the Wavecrest SIA-3000 and DTS family of signal integrity analyzers, and eliminates the need for separate power meters, filters and amplifiers. The result is an industry first — a complete optical testing solution that:
- Performs comprehensive optical signal characterization (including optical power levels, extinction ratio, optical modulation amplitude and rise and fall times)
- Allows you to isolate deterministic, random and period jitter components, identify specific jitter contributions to find the root cause, and measure jitter compliance to Gigabit Ethernet and FibreChannel standards.
- Measure jitter crosstalk in multi-lane or CWDM networks, including 10 Gigabit Ethernet LX4, VSR, Infiniband, and other parallel optical interfaces.
